About a talk....

OK, a shift in gear. This story is from some time ago. In June I had presented a talk sponsored by American Society of Quality at two of the chapters in SoCal. I was delighted to see that the attendees were people that were experts in the field and had some understanding about this particular regulation. The presentation was interactive and i learnt as much as i shared.

This was the fourth time i had presented the slides and so i had been refining the talk as i received feedback. I learnt that when you make the effort to update slides and share details and cross reference the source of your knowledge on FDA's webpage, folks appreciate that. I was delighted to learn that my audience also enjoyed the talk just as much. I will post their comments soon.

The runs and the heat

I fine myself in Los Angeles and just finished my first long runs (10 miles). After the marathon i have been keeping up with 5 miles twice a week. Today i ramped it up. Wrong city to choose - it was hot bu 7 am! I was carrying but one bottle of water. Just about enough because i conserved the amount i drank. It did feel good. I think i should start running at 5 am to avoid this next time.
